I reverse-engineered my career path, spending the beginning of it soul searching and experiencing a corporate gig in New York City to serving 2 years in the Peace Corps in South Africa. Over the last decade, I've led teams and built functions in construction and nonprofit, landing back in corporate as a marketer at a Fortune 500 where I consult on how to create the best customer experiences and communications.
Through it all, I've gotten married, had a baby, and experienced the hard adjustments, difficult conversations, knot-in-your-throat setbacks, as well as the triumphs and celebrations that come with being a driven, working woman who had to readjust her identity as a working mother.
I know that each job, situation, leader, and colleague has guided my career path and molded me into the go-to coach for those seeking guidance & encouragement. The resilience, perspective, & empathy garnered throughout enables me to provide successful guidance for next-level conversations to propose a raise, a promotion, to request a remote working schedule, to decide on and take the steps towards a different career path, or to start up a job search and all that entails.
When I'm not consulting or coaching, I'm spending time with my husband, Nick, and our daughter, Daphne, as well as our two dogs, Lindi (who I brought home from South Africa), and Eddie. I was raised with 3 strong older sisters, and parents who ran their own business, so the gift of leading, coaching, and connecting was instilled in me from a young age.
